SBI RECRUITMENT FOR 2986 PO FOR ASSOCIATE BANKS 2014



SBI Associate Bank PO Recruitment 2014 for 2986 posts Apply online. State Bank of India is first largest bank of India. It is government owned and with head -quarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra. State Bank of India has five associate banks i.e. State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, Hyderabad, Mysore, Patiala & State Bank of Travancore. There’s a good news for those who have been preparing for PO (probationary officer) jobs. SBI has invited applications for 2986 vacancies for Probationary Officer in its associate banks on website www.sbi.co.in . So those who are interested, can apply for the PO jobs and make their life secure.
The Eligible candidates can apply their application before 18th September 2014. Further details regarding age, qualification, no of posts, exam date etc are given below.

Bank vise vacancies:

·         State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ): 350 posts

·           State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH): 900 posts

·          State Bank of Mysore (SBM): 500 posts

·          State Bank of Patiyala (SBP): 100 posts

·          State Bank of Travancore (SBT): 1136 posts

Educational qualification: A) Essential Academic Qualifications :
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
Candidate having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before the eligiblity date.
In short candidate must have graduation degree at the time of applying for the job.

Age: 21-30 (As on: 01/09/2014). i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1984 and not later than 01.09.1993 . age relaxation is as per the government rules.

Application fee: Reserved category candidates( SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) have to pay Rs. 100/- and non-reserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 100/-.

Pay scale: Rs. 14500/- to Rs. 25700/- per month.


Selection process: For selection process first written exam and then GD and PI will be conducted.

Phase-I Examination consisting Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive
Test for 50 marks.
The Objective Test will be online. Immediately after the online Objective Test,
Descriptive Test will be administered.
(i) Objective Test:
The Objective Test with 2hours duration consists of 4 Sections with
50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows:
a) Test of English Language (Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
b) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
c) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
d) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing
marks, to be decided by the Bank.
(ii) Descriptive Test:
The Descriptive Test with 1 hour duration (50marks) will be of
“Test of English Language (comprehension, short précis, letter writing & essay)”.
The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks,
to be decided by the Bank.
(b) Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
