How to be prepared for interview?

When you apply for a job and called by the institution, interview becomes the first barrier to go through. Although, interview is nothing but a general meeting of your with the team of recruiters in which they evaluate your personality, nature and attitude by means of some simple to complex questions still this basic introduction session has become a level for applicants to show their wit and talent before the interviewers’ team. Here are some tips for you to simplify your way to crack the interview and preparing well for the same –

Entry and language – As soon as you enter in the room and wish the team of interviewers’; you get over 60 percent evaluated by them, surprisingly. That’s why; you should be very careful for your appearance, first impression, attitude and confidence. Open the door with great confidence but politeness; your body posture should be straight and frequent. Wish the interviewer with a smiling face and remember not to forward your hand for shake hand. It’s not suitable for an interviewee; on other hand, if any of the interviewers invite you for shake hand, you should accept it by holding the hand firmly but in a friendly manner.
At the time you wish the team of interviewers, wish lady(s) first, then men. If there are two or more ladies, you need not to wish everyone individually but you can wish them together by making eye contact to each of them while saying ‘good morning mam’ for say; same is applicable for male interviewers.
If you are confused about the language that in what language should you give interview, the answer is simple, reply them in the language they ask question. It can be Hindi, English or native language.

Ethics and values – Remember, not to give any fake or false information in your resume or interview regarding your education, personal details, family back ground, job history or anything else because every organization nowadays is looking for only honest and virtuous employees. That’s why, ethics and values matter a lot for them, you should represent your facts and data simply as they are in real. If there is any negative point, you can justify it with your wit to conveyance the interviewers’ team.

Listen well – When you are talking to the interviewer, you should not interrupt them in between they are speaking. Just listen them well and pay attention over every question they throw over you. Remember, when you will hear the question well, then only you will be able to answer the same in well manner. Keep your answers short and sweet until and unless you are being asked to elaborate it.

Body language – Keep your body language attractive enough that one cannot stop itself from being impressed by you. Make eye contact during the time you answer your interviewer as this represent your personality as a self confident person. Be confident and firm over the fact you say; they may try to distract you from your points but you should be firm over what you say as this shows your trust on you.

Dressing – Wear formal during interview and avoid too much make up. Don’t wear unnecessary accessories and dress your hair well.

Do rehearsal – With the help of your friend, family or relatives, you should plan mock interview earlier than the exact interview in your home. This will help you to know that in which point you feel nervous and how to beat such situation. Also, you will gain confidence of facing real interview in this way.

Five questions that will be asked definitely in every interview

So, you are planning to face an interview for the position you want? Well, there are many good ideas to be prepared well for interview and you will feel the preparation less as more as you prepare. Well, here are five most important questions that are expected to be asked by interviewer regardless to the company and job designation you are applying for –

Define yourself
You need to put personal information about you before them in a short yet sufficient paragraph. Telling about your name, age, last attained degree and college, earlier job (if any),   marital status is enough. Moreover, you can define yourself in single line that tells better what you are. For instance, I am highly ambitious girl who is ready to work hard for success.

Favorite subject
You may be asked that which is your favorite subject especially if you are applying in any educational institution or technical field where your learning are seen as the basic of your job. To answer this question you can prepare a subject of graduation or post graduation (as per the highest degree you have) well and tell them that you have specific interest in that subject. No need to mention that the subject should definitely interest you so that you can enjoy working if you are recruited for relevant department.

Why to choose you?
Over 90 percent interviewers love to ask their interviewees that why should they choose you for the job and what do you know about the responsibilities of that job? For this purpose, you should research well about the job and affiliated responsibilities. Also, you should prepare your answer well to conveyance them. Put forward your positive qualities, eligibilities and relevant trainings (if you have) to impress them.

Why that company only?
Another one of the most favorite questions asked by interviewers is that why do you want to work in their company only. To answer this question, you can tell them that their institute is really recognized in the industry and you will feel proud to be a part of that company. Also, you can put any relevant event before them if you have, such as any inspiration or your role model who worked for the same organization.

What is your expectation about salary?
At the time the recruiter finds you almost interesting for certain designation, they ask about the expected salary that will satisfy you. So, you should be ready to tell them your current salary and expected salary you want from them for the job they will hire you.
